Days 1 - 3: Governor's Camp, Kenya

You are transferred by a representative from your arrival point in Nairobi to Wilson Airport to connect with your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred to the camp. You spend 3 nights at Governor's Camp in a safari tent with en-suite facilities on a full board basis. Your stay includes game activities, laundry, park fees and return airstrip transfers.

Governor's Camp is set in a lush forest along the winding banks of the mighty Mara River, home to Hippo and Crocodile. Everything at this camp is under canvas and all tents boast en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flushing water.

For the adventure of a lifetime during your Tanzania safari, guests can enjoy the unique experience of a balloon safari over the plains, forests and rivers of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is famous for its abundance of bird and wildlife throughout the year. Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile and prolific numbers of plains game can be seen regularly.

Masai Mara also plays host to the greatest natural spectacle in the world, the Great Migration, where millions of Wildebeest and Zebra migrate from the dry plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania to the rich and lush grasslands of the Masai Mara.

Little Governor's Camp which has the perfect natural launch site and offers easy access for the take off shortly after sunrise. Your balloon safari lasts about an hour, with ample opportunities for photography and video filming form this spectacular perspective.

After landing, guest’s enjoy a traditional champagne toast, followed by a delicious breakfast cooked on the balloon burners in the middle of the wide, open plains of Kenya. Each passenger is then presented with a certificate signed by the pilot to commemorate the flight. Your balloon safari ends with a leisurely game drive to your camp.

Days 4 & 5: Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, Tanzania

After a relaxing morning, you are transferred to the Masai Mara Airstrip to connect with your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, you will board your second scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. On arrival, you will be met by a lodge representative for your road transfer to your lodge accommodation.

You will spend 2 wonderful nights at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge in a thatched room with en-suite bathroom on a full board basis. Your stay includes a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park in a 4X4 safari vehicle, transfers and park fees.

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge is located at the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment and overlooks the Great Rift Valley. Accommodation is in 67 spacious rooms with en-suite bathroom with shower facilities and a private verandah. The main area includes a dining room with indoor and outdoor seating, a bar, lounge, curio shop and a small meeting room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, the perfect way to cool down on a hot day in Africa.
