Hemingways overlooks one of the finest beaches in the country and Watamu Marine National Park, Kenya Coast. Many other attractions are close by for interesting adventures and tours. Mombasa is located 120km (75 miles) south of Hemingways.
There are over 600 species of fish in around 10 square kilometres of the Watamu Marine National Park, Kenya Coast. The Park covers 32 square kilometres and is one of the best kept secrets for intensity of species; it is only bettered by the Great Barrier Reef which actually covers a far larger area. Divers can visit 15 different dive sites and there is no overcrowding.
There are a number of great attractions in the area for guests at Hemingways to explore. Excursions can be arranged to Mida Creek in the Kenya Marine Reserve, Gede Ruins, the Malindi Marine National Park and shopping trips to Malindi. Safaris and adventures to other parts of Kenya can also be arranged.
